superb watercolor & mixed media sketchbook kit. Comes with 12 colors from Kuretake Gansai Tambi traditional Japanese watercolor paint. It’s a little opaque. I have always used Daniel smith but switched to these after one use! They are fabulous. This set is an excellent way to check out them.
Another exceptional medium is the Derwent Inktense pencils. They are the foremost watercolor pencils out there in my opinion. After wetting, they dry permanently so you can layer with ease. See pics for colors, or write
Finally this watercolor lot comes with a hardcover Hahnemuhle watercolor sketchbook. It’s 200 gsm and has 30 sheets or 60 pages as it’s made to paint on both sides of the paper.
This is an superb sketch set to take plein air (outdoor) painting.
